Hi, I’m Kris.
Sound supervisor, sound designer and composer, based in Berlin.
I trained as a physicist, so I care about why things sound the way they do, on set, in the mix and on the final screen.
I work with filmmakers, production companies and brands on films, commercials and campaigns. When a production scales, my sound agency scales with it: a hand-picked team of specialists I’ve worked with for years, led by me from shoot to delivery.

Experimental Work
In my own work I use cutting techniques from film editing to build music from field recordings, tape, prepared drums and electronics. The pieces are performed live, released on records, or shown as installations, films and expanded cinema.

I’ve worked in sound for over twenty years, on set and in post, for film, television, commercials and art. My work has screened at the Berlinale, Jazzfest Berlin and IFFR Rotterdam, and I’ve composed and recorded scores for the artist John Bock since 2007. I hold a diploma in physics from Freie Universität Berlin. I work in Spanish, English and German.
